The Bloodhound SSC has sniffed out its limits and is nearly ready to break past them. The supersonic car, unveiled to the public for the first time on September 24th, is in the final stages of development; with plans to break the world land-speed record soon.
The project’s creators proclaim it to be "the world's fastest and most advanced racing car."
With designs on blowing past the world land-speed record—at over 1,000 miles per hour—the Bloodhound SSC just might be exactly that.
And it is being shown publicly for the first time.
