The Soyuz-TMA-16M spacecraft has successfully completed its descent from orbit and landed southeast of Dzhezkazgan in Kazakhstan, safely bringing the International Space Station crew back to earth. The re-entry capsule was carrying Russia’s Gennady Padalka, who holds the record for days in space, Kazakhstan’s Aidyn Aimbetov, and Denmark’s first astronaut Andreas Mogensen.
