Mehfil Magazine is a South Asian Magazine in Canada, started to bring pride into the Canada’s second largest ethnic minority and to bridge potentially divisive gaps and create better cross-cultural understanding. Many covers carried striking portraits of Canadians, and British Columbians in particular, whose names and contributions were so well known that ethinicity no longer seemed to be an issue: Moe Sihota, Justice Wally Oppal, and Ujjal Dosanjh to name a few.
