Former MCA president Ong Tee Keat denies any chance of him being appointed a senator and given a place in Prime Minister Najib's cabinet which is expected to be announced today.
Brushing it off as mere speculation, he says he does not see the possibility of that happening adding that Najib has better candidates.
Ong also says the failure of MCA and BN to field him as a candidate in GE13, makes him unsuitable to hold a cabinet post in the ruling government.
Ong held the Pandan parliamentary seat for five-terms, and was the only MCA parliamentarian in Selangor survive the 2008 general election, before being as a candidate in GE13.
