Sjaak Rijke, a Dutch hostage held by al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, was unexpectedly found and freed by French Special Forces during their dawn raid on fighters in northern Mali, Monday. According to the Dutch Foreign Minister Bert Koenders, Rijke is doing well under the circumstances.
