Cottonwood Police released a video of the violent encounter, which shows how the confrontation unfolded on 21 March, after officers were called about a Wal-Mart employee being shoved inside the store by one of the family members. The brawl broke out outside the store after police tried to separate the family members for questioning while they investigated the incident. Enoch Gaver, 21, was killed in the confrontation, 28-year-old David Gaver was shot in the abdomen but has since been released from hospital, and Police Sergeant Jeremy Daniels sustained a gunshot wound.
