Paleontologists have published a study about a 500 million-year old worm named Collinsium which is thought to have had around 72 spikes as one of the first cases of armored protection found in the animal kingdom.

Scientists continue to discover more about ancient, extinct creatures, and now, another distinctive one can be added to the list.
