The artist Mat Collishaw has achieved an impressive zoetrope by 3D printing. It is based on The Massacre of the Innocents, a series of paintings of Peter Paul Rubens representing the biblical story of the massacre of the Innocents in Bethlehem. This titanic work took about six months to achieve 350 figures of characters, the elements of the environment and architecture. The software is mainly used 3ds Max and ZBrush.
