An unidentified woman suffered minor injuries after reportedly crashing into a brick building and collapsing part of it in Kansas City, Missouri on Thursday.
The woman was speeding in a stolen white SUV around 10:00am on Thursday. Police reportedly gave up chasing her until an officer spotted her flying through a downtown intersection at 80 mph.
The high speed chase started at the corner of 12th Street and Prospect Ave and lasted about two miles.
The driver reportedly ran into a fire hydrant 6 blocks away from the intersection of Oak and 18th streets.
A CCTV camera recorded the SUV swerving across 18th Street, narrowly missing a large truck and slamming into a brick building.
The video shows part of the building collapse on top of the stolen car.
According to reports, the building was a storage space for unrenovated antique cars. Some of the cars dated back to the 1940s.
At least one vintage car fell from the second story of the building when it collapsed.
No one was inside the building at the time of the crash. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.
