On today’s show we’re going back in time with our pro climbers and we’re also looking into the future.
The near future could possibly involve the fourth ascent of Christian Core’s 'Gioia'.
A very strong team of US boulderers, including Daniel Woods and Dave Graham, has descended on Italy and are pushing hard to do it before the springtime warmth arrives.
The grade of 'Gioia' remains unclear, with 8C+ having been suggested but 8C looking more likely. Either way, it seems we may well have a very well informed opinion given on it soon so stay tuned for more news from Italy's most famous boulder.
Next we’re off to see our pro climbers and asking them to look way back into their pasts and tell us the first route they ever climbed outdoors.
