During the early morning hours of Tuesday, five drones were spotted flying around Paris.
Some of the locations included the US embassy, Eiffel Tower, the Place de la Concorde and The Louvre museum. Police have confirmed the drones were indeed flying over the city, but at this point, the aerial devices' operators have not been caught.
The BBC notes that law enforcement officials suspect the flights might somehow be connected. Investigators are still trying to determine who was responsible for operating the drones.
Tuesday's incidents are the latest in a string of sightings that have been reported in Paris over the duration of the last few months. In the past incidents, they have been seen flying over the French president's residence and nuclear power stations.
