Russia is increasing its efforts to resolve the 3 year civil war in Syria. The two day round of initial peace talks in Moscow ended Thursday without concrete agreements, but general principles of defending Syrian sovereignty and unity, rejecting external intervention, and opposing terrorism were accepted.
