Rob Lowe recently shared his feelings about Sony Pictures’ decision to cancel the December 25th premier of the film ‘The Interview’.

Sony Pictures’ decision to cancel the December 25th premiere of the film ‘The Interview’ has been met with a great deal of criticism, and Rob Lowe is among the latest celebrities to comment.

Lowe Tweeted, "Hollywood has done Neville Chamberlain proud today," referring to the British Prime Minister who struck a historically unpopular deal with Hitler before the start of the Second World War.

The movie in question is about two journalists who end up being involved in a plot to kill North Korea’s leader Kim-Jong Un, and it’s been a matter of controversy for some time.

Months ago, North Korea announced that if the film made it to theaters they would consider it an act of war.

In the time since Sony has been targeted by hackers, and it’s employees and theater affiliates have received a number of threats.

US Intelligence personnel suspect that North Korea is and has been involved in those aggressions.

Sony said their reason for pulling back on the movie’s premiere is in the interest of ensuring the safety of their employees and the moving-going public.

Lowe and a number of other celebrities see the action as a victory for the hackers.
