The European Space Agency successfully landed a probe on a comet on Wednesday.
The probe, known as Philae, has transmitted signals and begun sending back photos.
However scientists are unsure whether they can start experiments as the landing didn’t go entirely to plan.
The craft is extremely unstable after harpoons that should have fired into the comet’s surface to anchor it in didn’t fire. There is concern that the craft could float away in the low gravity.
It’s thought the lander bounced off the comet’s surface before coming to rest further away from the chosen landing site.
The hope is scientists will still find a way to drill down for samples and gain clues into our solar system.
