Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MP and the Chairperson of Parliament's Standing Committee on Urban Development Pinaki Mishra courts controversy by allegedly bribing journalists. Rs 200 was found inside notepads allegedly supplied by Mishra's supporters during a media briefing by Mishra and an Odisha Cabinet Minister Maheshwar Mahanti. Mishra has admitted the blunder but has pointed fingers at the sponsors. Meanwhile -- Opposition parties have attacked Pinaki for bribing journalists.
