Tonight, I Cannot Go
I Cannot Go, Tonight
I Am So Low Of Soul
My Heart, Can’t Reach Hope’s Height
Or Determined Depth, or Width Of Will
Or Lunge, Lassitude’s Length
To Cross The Threshold Of ‘ Try ’
I Just Don’t Have The Strength
To Rise From This Misery
Of Bombardment From Strife
I Could Not Move This Moment
Even, If It Meant … My Life
Tonight, I Cannot Go
I Cannot Go, Tonight
This Is My Weakest Hour
I Can’t Put Up A Fight
I Cannot Face Others, Now
I’ve Lost My Brave Face
And Even Worse … I Feel Lost
And, Losing Saving Grace
Tonight, I Cannot Go
I Cannot Go, Tonight
My Blank Stare, Is Hard-Pressed
To Keep Teardrops, From Sight
My Manner Is So Cold
‘Cause, I’ve Fought Fire, With All My Might
So, I’m So Tired Now,
My Eyelids, Are Too Tight
Tonight, I Couldn’t Be Around
Superficial Company
I’m Better Off, With A Blanket
In Front Of My TV
Tonight, I Cannot Go
I Cannot Go, Tonight
But, You Go Have A Good Night
Maybe Tomorrow, I’ll Be Alright
(… Its Midnight … I Cannot Go
I Cannot Go, Tonight
I, Am Ready … But Not Quite
Put Knife Down … Before It Bites …
I Cannot Go, Tonight)
