The sunlight
arranges its shadows
delicately placing them
in position
as it were of the utmost
importance as to just
where they should go.
I feel like an intruder
as if I had
caught the sunlight
at an inopportune
moment
stepping from the shower
& reaching for a towel.
I tried to be
as invisible as I could be
not to
exist
the least little bit.
Only a silently
falling leaf
dared to say
anything at all.
