Dear Lord, who is this man you have sent?
He has dried the tears that ran as blood
From my eyes. I repented my sins within Lent,
And prayed to remove the Thorn; Wipe the mud
From my eyes, and now I look into a blue ocean
That gazes right back...so steadfast, so placid.
A feeling of love so strong with barely a notion
Of what once before left me barren and rancid.
A man of this making is a rare find, indeed.
He has taken the Thorn from hy heart
And sealed it with a kiss so warm; not in greed,
Or lust...It is only time now keeping us apart.
So scared was i before
Of the love, care and dedication he has to offer.
Love is, yet again, tapping on the door
To the soul within my heart. Why then should i stop Her?
This time, She has no limits, restrictions, or secrets.
This time, there is no 'lets see' or 'maybe'.
From Your heart, he was made, and in mine, I keep it.
Keep the man who does not see what I see
In he. Yes, a poor and sad life once lived,
But with he, my heart is free as sunlight upon morning dew.
I will accept his plea for love, his true gift.
My days becoming brighter, my aura regaining its purple hue.
No longer looking back, but foward, to run a new race
And be free to be taken to a new more heavenly place.
