Away from home in a dusty land,
chasing shadows that seldom move
Gazing with hope without a hint,
like drooping leaves on a cloudy noon
Away from tidings, cutoff from rains,
few machines breathe for me to work
One thing I do despite these pains
is to sit like a dog and noisely sulk
Away from streams, I always knew-
the travelled road threw lesser fun
Holding fast to dreams, hope I renew,
on a promise which led all ways to one.
