There once was a wizard
who liked to steal
and never got caught.
He had the pick
of the royal treasury
and while the Lord suspected
he said naught.
For he loved the wizard
as a man of God.
If the little one stole
it was not much
at a time
so the Lord forgave him
his continuing crime.
