It was a day
like any other day.
Hope and Faith walked hand in hand
along the warm, soft, white sand.
Said Hope to Faith:
“I like you because you believe in yourself.”
Faith chuckled and said:
“And I like you because you’re always there.”
Soon came a cruel giant wave -
threatening to wash them both away.
But Hope and Faith remained unshaken –
and continued to walk hand in hand
along the warm, soft, white sand.
Asked Hope:
“Will you stand by me all the time? ”
Answered Faith:
“Yes. I will and together we shall
conquer the entire land.”
So saying, they both walked hand in hand
along the warm, soft, white sand.
