In the beginning I thought she was mine
Taken by word, but vacant by Love
I thought I could make her shine
I rushed toward and she flew like a dove
I told her it would be fine
But she gave me a frigid shove
I was nothing to her, but kind
She was frightened by the stranger called Love
Now I lay here a dead swine
Trying to think of a new sound to rhyme
Sticking out of the crowded line
It looks like I’ve run out of time
Drowning in the pool of thoughts
I hear now nothing, but wants.
