Can anybody please tell me,
A good day this will be?
Can anybody for sure say,
This will be a very good day?
Can anybody say,
That they need no help today?
Can anybody say that in their own mind,
That they will wake up and find,
That this is not a very good day,
Only to go out of their way to help a stray?
Sometimes I will become very sad on a given day,
Only to go out in the bright sun and play,
Catch the frisbee with my pet.
So I am willing to make a bet
With you, that you can wake up and get,
That beautiful smile that you need so you can say,
This indeed is such a beautiful day.
Can anybody say...?
