A cavern of thought
Igniting a cascade of dreams
Once reality
Particles of sand and sense suffocate
A soul
Twisting inside self
Hairs of existence entwine themselves
Around truth and deception
Tangled
Mangled
Footsteps forward melt in reverse
And progress becomes an echo
