Sant Joan Despí (Spain), 28 Oct (EFE).- Barcelona trained Tuesday with all eyes on the Catalonia Supercup to be played against Espanyol in Girona Wednesday, a game in which Leo Messi and Neymar da Silva will not be taking part.
Messi and Neymar continue to recover from their physical problems and worked out alone.
Douglas Pereira and Thomas Vermaelen followed their individual programs as they have yet to fully recover from their respective injuries and will miss the derby.
Another player to stay at home will be Andrés Iniesta, who continues to receive physiotherapy on the calf he injured at the Bernabéu.
Defender Adriano Correia, however, trained at the same pace as his teammates and could be ruled fit by doctors Wednesday, which will allow him to receive minutes.
