ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
STORY: The ceremonial welcome for the President of Singapore on his state visit to the United Kingdom took place at Horseguards Parade in London on Tuesday (October 21). Arriving with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the President and Mrs Tan met Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh, as well as Prime Minister David Cameron. It was the Duchess of Cambridge's first public appearance since the announcement was made that she is pregnant with her second child, who is due to be born in April. A recent statement from the Duke of Cambridge's office confirmed the Duchess, popularly known as Kate, is still suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, acute morning sickness which causes severe nausea and vomiting and requires supplementary hydration and nutrients. The condition has caused her to cancel a number of official engagements.
