In Ferguson, Missouri yesterday, 50 people protesting the shooting of unarmed African-American teen Michael Brown were arrested yesterday as they marched in front of the Ferguson police department demanding justice, the arrest of the officer responsible, and demilitarization of their town. Among those arrested were well known academic-philosopher Cornel West as well as religious and social leaders from many different parts of the country.
