Butterfly That Just Wanted a Kiss Lands on Flutists Nose Mid-Performance

Wooed by the beautiful sound of Yukie Ota's flute during the Carl Nielsen International Flute Competition, a majestic butterfly wanted a front row seat.

So it did what butterflies do — fluttering its wings, then landed directly on Ota's nose.

The Japanese flutist wasn't fazed in the least, embracing the butterfly's magnificent landing — only to usher it gently away as she completed her performance.
