After a fifteen-day trial, a Paris court has convicted nine people of belonging to an Afghanistan-trained militant network that reportedly planned attacks in France.
Sentences of two to eight years were handed down to the defendants, three of whom were tried in absentia.
All denied being fighters or planning an attack.
