Former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has revealed that PPP held several talks with establishment over Musharraf case.
Addressing a press conference, Gilani said he, along with the then president Zardari held talks with establishment, adding that it wasn’t possible to take resignation from Musharraf without the consent of establishment.
He confirmed that PML-N was also involved in the dialogue process.
Ex-PM said PML-N shouldn’t have lodged case against Musharraf, adding that it was decided that Musharraf will not be impeached if he resigns himself.
He questioned as to how a strong general can resign without any agreement?
Gilani said there was no chance of any positive change in the country in the coming months.
Commenting over PTI chairman, He said Imran Khan has a right to stage protests, adding that Khan and Nawaz should enjoy healthy relations.
He said PPP will not support any unconstitutional step if taken by Imran Khan.
