Punjab government approved installation of Smart Meters on government offices and institutions. All electric supplying companies including Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO), Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO) and Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) have been consulted on this and the paperwork in this regard has also been completed.
