Welcome to the Michigan State University Writing MOOC: Thinking Like a Writer. Now, you're probably asking yourself what you'll be learning during this course. Exactly, you'll be learning how to think like a writer. This MOOC is separated into 4 modules: We'll begin with Module 1: Stories of Learning and Writing, 2: Stories of Language and Culture, then Module 3: Learning Reporting, and lastly, 4: Revising Thinking. During this 8 week course, you'll learn how to solve problems, create new ideas, revise your ideas, and communicate more effectively.
And you'll be learning with the award-winning faculty at Michigan State, but you'll also be learning from each other. We'll be using Canvas as the course network and Eli as the review platform. You can use the Canvas discussion boards or Facebook to create and share your writing with a community of learners, in order to create a global community of writers.
