Give me some time, I’ll try my best
I’ll study up, take this as test,
For to this form, I am so new
My pen is warm, and overdue,
So here I go, from poets’ breast.
Oh Rondeau style, I must confess,
Your rhyming lines, bring some distress,
Thus I commit, to learning you,
Give me some time
Rosa, penned one, with sweet caress,
And while reading, I was impressed,
In vain I tried, for something new,
Fast failed am I, with meter blue,
I’ll carry on, and faults address,
Give me some time
