Asian Brit, a bolt fitting no nut,
Not yet a full-fledged fair coconut,
Stays brown in native skin,
And far from white within!
What of Brits that can blend them nor butt?
________________________________________________
A third of UK residents of age 34 and within,
of South Asian origin, if a research survey is
to be believed, do not feel British-like.
The survey called them coconuts— brown still
from the outside, and not yet white within.
This perhaps means that such coconuts are
unable to grow fully in British environment.
It reflects not only on the nut, but also on the
so-called fair land, the inputs and environment
around. Here is the case of: they can’t eat the
apple, yet have them.
