As I gaze into the shattered reflection, I can see into my soul
My life’s going no where fast and why is dying so damn slow
The paths I’ve walked down aren’t the paths I had to choose
But the past is over now, and there’s nothing we can do
Black cats and broken mirrors the only things I’ve ever seen
I’ve stepped on cracks and under ladders, this is all I’ll ever be
Black cats and broken mirrors, the only things that fill my life
Now I just sit and stare as death slowly passes by
As I look into my broken past I see the things I could have been
But my path is chosen now, time for my new life to begin
As I look back on a life that was broken, cursed and shamed
I can see there is no one now, I’ve only got myself to blame
