I dreamed the strangest,
twas you and I,
inside a rubber jail,
filled with hot water
to the rim,
designed to warm one's limbs
during the cold of night
or early morn,
the logic of this did escape,
and puzzle me,
we swam and we swam
until a million
little fishies
arrived,
and swam and they swam
right over your dam.
It was true that we had
all the rubber outside
not a barrier at all
but the ocean's own tide.
