Dearest One,
by the time you read this note my tears would have drowned me, and the sorrow inside of me would have brought me closer to Heaven’s door. What you do not know is, even in my sleep my thoughts search for you. At the rise of the morning sun, when the birds begin to sing, their melodies remind me of your cooing voice wooing me to sleep in your warm and tender arms. Any time I am far away from you my soul sadly pants like the deer thirsting for water. Like a fish taken out of water and left flapping on the pier, my heart writhes inside me for your touch. And for days I wait on Fate to bring me home into your arms, my true home, where your smiles unfold into my arms the joy that enriches a soul wafted in the ecstasy of blessed spirits.
Today you may not know this, but someday you will come to know how much you are loved and that I am faithful one. In fact, no other one can ever possess my heart. I have heard my Grandma say, you will never know the value of water until your river runs dry. The distance between us has drained breath out of my soul and like a motherless child I remember how it used to be when we lived and walked under the moonlit sky, on village lanes, singing songs no ear ever heard. Those were the days your love made me the happiest of mortals.
With tears still flowing in my heart, I must close this letter hoping we can achieve our purpose to live together in love till Heaven closes its doors on us. Please, do continue to love me and care for my faithful heart.
ever yours
ever mine
ever ours.
