It has most recently been brought to my attention,
that SPOTTED DICK is just a dish in the UK.
My first reaction to the name deserves a mention,
a spotted one is always reason for a big dismay.
I took the magnifying glass out from the shop
and had a thorough look at mine to ascertain
that no strange spots were there or starting up
to my relief I looked and checked but all in vain.
Now that we have that reassurance in the bag
there is a question that remains, it's easy but
we surely know that dicks do like to sag
but if they have some can they change their spots?
