Two shadows met
one afternoon
at a tea dance
where ladies swoon.
One was a tall
quite lithesome ghost,
the other short
and rather gross.
The sun went in,
the rain poured down
and so two shadows
sank and drowned
but nonetheless
they had their day
but shadows all
must fade away.
