Environmental campaigners are celebrating after a UK oil firm agreed to stop exploration in Africa's oldest national park. The World Wildlife Fund had kept up the battle to get Soco international to scrap drilling plans for the Democratic Republic of Congo's Virunga park since French firm Total backed down last year.
