I had an emergency surgery at 20yrs old and was in the hospital for a week. I did not have coverage, and my parents were not around to help. Well since it has gone to collections, the hospital is not working with me at all, neither is the collection agency. They won't budge on the amount due, the monthly payment, or removing it from my credit report! I am not trying to not pay them, I am taking responsibility for what I owe and am willing to pay monthly payments. I would just like some help on how I can reduce them, and get it off my credit report (my husband and I are trying to buy a home & desperately need it off my credit report).
