The debt collector asked when I would be home to talk with him. My child said that I was not home but to try back later at night. When my child told me what happened they said the *man* at the door was telling them that we were being issued a summons for a car accident. Of course, no one in the family has been in one for 2 1/2 yrs. So with that knowledge I am left with thinking the debt collector is lying to try to make sure he talks to me later tonight. I am filing for bankruptcy ASAP I have been waiting on the money for a lawyer. I dont see how they get away with lying about an *accident* to get someone to the front door. Wouldnt that be illegal on their part. I know there are laws. I just need to get this filed soon. Feedback is appreciated if knowlegable on such issues and decent.
