On a personal note...I filed for a personal Chapter 7 bankruptcy earlier this year. I was made aware that any proceeds that I received in the distribution of estate funds were to be handed over to the bankruptcy trustee.
I am also the executor for her estate, and an executor fee was accounted for in the estate's accounting. Is the bankruptcy trustee entitled to those funds as well? -
