this was 1992 when Pakistan won the world cup Cricket for the first time and that was the first colorful world cup too. In this world cup for the first time theme song was released and white ball was used. Imran Khan was the man behind that success. New Zealand was the hard favourite of this tournament but was unbeaten till the last group matches. Pakistan was in a very crictical position and almost lost half of the matches of the group. The last group match was amongst the then unbeaten team and the team who was the most weeker side. But Pakistan has beaten the best side for the first time which resulted to go through the semi final. This defeat put lots of pressure on the Guest Side on the home ground under the home crowed. Semi final was again amongst these two teams and Pakistan was on top to control on their nerves and defeated them again in the semi final. In the Final Pakistan has easily beaten UK and became the Champion.
