A pony owner leaves a store after his animal defecates on the floor.

Take a walk in your neighborhood and it’s almost guaranteed, you will come across some animal waste left behind by a lazy owner.

But you wouldn't expect to see it inside a store.

Recently, police responded to a call from a shop specializing in the sale of alcohol in Warren, Rhode Island. Apparently an utterly bizarre incident occurred when a man brought his Shetland pony into the store.

The male and his animal had previously been at a local children's pony show. After browsing the liquor aisles for a bit, the horse defecated on the floor and the owner along with his creature walked out, leaving the mess behind.

The business’s operator called the police to report property damage and planned on pressing charges. However, officers arrived and they had a better idea of serving justice.

The cops located the pony owner, identified as 51-year-old William Saviano and made him go back to the shop to clean up. Once all of the sanitation efforts were completed, Saviano and the store’s customers were laughing about the ridiculous ordeal. No charges were filed.
