Documentation of a 3-hour performance Performed by David Rafael Botana and Bradley Teal Ellis Socrates Sculpture Park, NYC Cordoned Area is a durational work created for and in collaboration with two dancers who are also lovers. Over the course of three hours, they negotiate each other in a space defined by a large canvas. Paint drips steadily out of their costumes; as they come into contact with each other, color moves from body to body and stains the canvas beneath them.
