Timelapse of the setting Milky Way I shot a few weeks ago from atop of Mount Maroon in the Scenic Rim area of Queensland. The weather conditions weren’t ideal as there was quite a bit of cloud coverage especially towards the end of the sequence. The timelapse spans about four and a half hours from 21:30 to 02:00 with almost 500 images taken. The setting quarter moon in the beginning, adds a nice touch without taking over the entire sky and you can still see the Milky Way clearly… The music courtesy of Vitaliy Baldych under the Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike license. http://bc.unitedstudios.ru/album/music-for-planetarium-in-yaroslavl Photographic Details: Canon 6D Sigma 14mm @ 1.8 ISO1600 @ 33s
