A social media panel discussion I moderated on behalf of the Web Startup Group at BYU. We were very fortunate to be joined by Dave Hanley, a Principal and one of the Founders at Banyan Branch, a social media agency in Seattle. Banyan Branch has been killing it for a few years in the social media strategy and response space, expanding from their offices in Seattle to New York and LA. Follow Dave @davehanley. We were also joined by Yaser Bishr, a PhD in geospatial mathematics and an expert in the field of network mapping and measurement. Yaser has spent years developing mathematically based tools and techniques for influence measurement in the social graph. Many of these tools are now part of a product suite at smartRealm LLC, where Yaser was a co-founder.
