It was an early start for some LLA staff on Friday 1st July as they'd volunteered for the Annual Runway Walk. Although the runway is inspected every two hours during the course of daily operations, each summer a team will painstakingly inspect every centimetre of the 2160m runway for flaws just before sunrise. Pleased to report a clean bill of health for our runway.
